In an exciting move for the creative industries, Hungary has officially launched a Music & Gaming Technology Cluster aimed at uniting innovators, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across Central and Eastern Europe. The cluster brings together players from music production, event tech, game development, audio innovation, and media — all under one collaborative umbrella.
With backing from academic institutions like Óbuda University and integration into the Zsámbék Scientific and Tech Park, the initiative provides both physical infrastructure and a strategic support network for startups, established companies, and researchers. From regulatory sandbox environments for testing copyright frameworks to financial tools supporting commercialization, the cluster is set to become a leading innovation hub in the region.
„We’re not just building a network — we’re building a future where creativity and technology grow hand in hand,” said one of the founding members.
The cluster is already accepting new members and has plans for its first industry event later this year.
